I am Founder and Senior Editor of a successful blog at TexasRealtyBlog.com. Our team has provided Texas real estate news, market updates, and advice since March 2006. Since then, the Texas Realty Blog has been spotlighted on national sites such as REALTOR.com and Realtown Blogs.
URBANIST LIVING SITE DESCRIPTION:
We are launching UrbanistLiving.com, an interactive online magazine for the urbanist lifestyle. This robust, Joomla-based site that will be the first of it's kind in offering user-generated content and articles in a citizen journalist format on the principles of new urbanism, which include green, sustainable, walkable community design with mixed-income and mixed-use elements.
TARGET AUDIENCE: UrbanistLiving.com is for the eco-conscious consumer who wants to participate in public discourse about new urbanism (pros and cons), connect with others who share your interest in sustainable, walkable communities, and become more educated through a shared learning experience with an international population.
WHAT WE NEED: We are looking for passionate volunteer writers who see value in our public project. Sites like Youtube changed the way television and broadcast stations treat their audiences. Content now comes from everyday people who can become recognized by their peers for standing out and/or being unique. Our site's goal is to be the catalyst for more interactive niche citizen journalism sites with the end goal of creating a similar change in the print industry.
